The Mission
Goaltender evaluation at the amateur level is fundamentally broken. Traditional stats are either missing or misleading. The "Eye Test" is subjective and unquantifiable. Talented goalies playing on weak defensive teams are statistically invisible.
CreaseLogic solves this by providing human-graded, shot-level analysis that captures the full context of every play. We isolate goaltender performance from team defense, quantify rebound control, and benchmark performance against peer competition.
Our goal is simple: Make the best goalies visible—regardless of height, team record, or access to elite coaching.

Our Approach: Human-Graded Precision
We don't rely on automated algorithms that miss screens, deflections, or defensive breakdowns. Every shot is graded by trained analysts who understand the game.
Objective Event Tracking
We track facts, not opinions. Where did the shot happen? Was the goalie screened? What happened to the rebound? Every detail is captured and classified.
Shot Classification System
Every shot is graded by danger level—Grade X (Defensive Breakdown), A (High Danger), B (Medium), C (Low). Context-aware grading that traditional stats ignore.
The Peer Benchmark Engine
We annotate both goaltenders in every uploaded game, building a "League Average" baseline for every age group. Performance becomes relative and comparable.
